How you can change your world, one person at a time.

The Disease: If there was a global disease outbreak with a free and easy cure, wouldn’t you take it and tell others? There is a disease that affects every human on this planet. It brings out the worst in us, including the hate that we see in the world today. It brings pain to strangers, friends and even family. This exists even in our own hearts, where we would not want people to see our own envy or evil thoughts. This disease is SIN. Sin ruins our best intentions, causes regret, and hurts others. More than anything else, it hurts God. You might be wondering “Who is God and why should He care about me out of billions of people?”
The Bible says “The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.”
Psalm 116:5. Note that He is gracious, He gives good things we don’t deserve and forget to thank Him for. He is also righteous so that He will not let any injustice in this world go unpunished, including our own sins and mistakes. But don’t forget, God is also full of compassion. How do we know? You’ll see soon, first look closer at our sin disease which drives much of the behavior and problems on earth.  The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. Since God is righteous, He will punish us for our sins, so how can we sin and have a relationship with a holy God? Can we do good to cover our sins? Is anyone perfect? The Bible says “There is no one righteous, not even one” Romans 3:10 and “All our righteousness is as filthy rags; and we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64:6. Even the nicest people have offended God.

The Cure: Since God is just, He must punish sin. The Bible says “We have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53:6. Who is ‘him’? “For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” Col. 2:9. Since no man can save us, Jesus Christ, God come down in the flesh, suffered and died on a cross, paying for all the sins of man. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16. To accept this free gift, pray “Dear God, I know I have sinned, thank you for sending the Lord Jesus Christ to die and rise again to fully pay for all my sins and mistakes. I accept Him into my life as my Savior as I ask in Jesus' name, Amen.” The Bible says “God is love.” 1 John 4:8. and now you have a relationship with Him.  Enjoy true love and time with God daily. Learn, grow, and share your new life with us and with others, one person at a time.
